Frozen Coffee Protein Smoothie Recipe

Ingredient List

  • 1 frozen banana, chopped
  • about 1/2 cup plain or vanilla Greek yogurt (no sugar added, 2% milk fat)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (whey or plant based)
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1/2 tablespoon flax or chia seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup coffee, chilled

Blending It Together

Make sure the bananas are closest to the blades. Then add the other ingredients.

Pulse or blend until smooth and frothy. You will probably have to pulse for between 30 seconds and a minute. Scrape the sides of the blender regularly.

Pour into a jar or glass and enjoy. You can make this ahead of time and store in the refrigerator for about a day.
