When it comes to fitness, the crown jewel for most people is a stronger core. And for good reason – a strong core improves posture, keeps your waistline in check and makes you look (and feel) more fit. The path to all these is by doing core exercises.
It’s important to rotate your core exercises, because the more you do a specific exercise, the more your body will adapt to it. There are a variety of core exercises featured on fitblendr, including:
- Planks and their variations
- Crunches
- Russian Twists
- Bridges
- Mountain Climbers
If you have just 5 minutes in your day, we’ll show you how you can create your very own dynamic workout that will rock your core using the core exercises above – plus many more.
Creating a 5 Minute Blend on fitblendr that Focuses on Core Exercises
Creating a custom blend that focuses on your core is easy on fitblendr.
First, click the “make a blend” link at the top of the screen. Or if you are on the homepage, you can also click the “create custom blend” button.

If you are on a mobile device, such as a phone or tablet, your view will look like this. Click the three lines at the top right of the screen to open the menu.

Of course, you can also click here to create a custom blend 🙂
Next, on the custom blend page, scroll down until you get to the listing of areas you want to work on. Select “core”. Then select “5 minute” for the 5 minute blend option. Finally, click “blend” to start creating your custom blend.

That’s it! You just created a 5 minute blend focused on your core muscles. Of course if you prefer to not use weights only use bodyweight, you can select the bodyweight option along side the 5-minute one.
